Norika® PEX Pipes & Fittings
Innovative, Cost-Effective and Simply Revolutionary

One of the most popular and innovative options in the plumbing industry today, PEX pipes are flexible and durable tubing which are suitable for residential or commercial usage. The cross-linked polyethylene tubing are flexible enough to bend around corners unlike copper and polyvinyl chloride piping.

Norika multilayer pex pipe

Norika® Multilayer PEX pipes

Norika® Multilayer PEX pipes feature three-layer tubing of PEX-B for the outer and innermost layers with a middle layer made of aluminum. The pipes are suitable for hot and cold potable water applications as well as for underfloor heating systems. They have an operating pressure of 10bar and working temperature from 0°C to 95°C.

Flexible Sizing:

From 16mm up to 75mm, with coil lengths of 200 meters (16mm and 20mm pipe size), 100 meters (25mm pipe size), 50 meters (32mm pipe size) and 5.8 meters(40mm up to 75mm pipe size)

Comply with PUB Requirements:

BS EN ISO 21003-1: 2008 and BS EN ISO 21003-2: 2008+A1: 2011 for its performance test. Being non-metallic, it complies with SS 375: 2015 for suitability of use in contact with potable water.

Norika pushfit type f6

Norika® PEX Push-fit - Type F6

Norika® PEX Push-fit (Type F6) fittings can be used with both multilayer and PEX pipes respectively. They can be adapted for simultaneous usage with a PEX pipe on one end and multilayer pipe on the other. Connecting Norika® PEX Push-fit pipes is as easy as pushing the PEX pipe to the fittings. For multilayer pipes, rounding is necessary before making the connection.

Seven major parts:

Collet, collet retainer, spacer, indicator ring, grab ring, seal ring and brass body. The spacer and grab ring work as double slip prevention. The double-seal ring structure provides for better sealing performance enhancing the stability and security of the connection. Even after joining with the pipes, these fittings are able to swivel for greater flexibility during installation.

Norika® PEX Push-fit (Type F6) fittings also come with a green display indicating that the pipe has been securely inserted.

Flexible Sizing:

16mm, 20mm, 25mm and 32mm

Norika® PEX Pressfit - Type F5

(Type F5) fittings use a pressfit type of connection and therefore require a hand tool or pressfit machine for installation.

Flexible Sizing:

16mm, 20mm, 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 63mm and 75mm

Comply with PUB Requirements:

Both Norika® PEX Push-fit (Type F6) and Norika® PEX Pressfit (Type F5) comply with standards BS EN ISO 21003-1:2008, BS EN ISO 21003-2: 2008 + A1: 2011, BS EN ISO21003-3: 2008 and BS EN ISO 21003-5: 2008 for their performance capabilities through tests on internal pressure, bending, pull-out, cyclic test and vacuum test. Both also comply with SS 375: 2015, AS/NZS4020: 2005 and BS EN 12165: 2016 for suitability of use in contact with potable water.

Advantages of PEX pipes and fittings:

  • Adaptable and easy to use plumbing system. PEX is flexible enough to turn 90 degrees corners where other pipes would require elbow fittings. It is lightweight, and can be installed significantly faster compared to copper or PVC piping.
  • Does not require soldering as compared to copper pipe, and do not require the clean and glue method of PVC piping.
  • Provide greater resistance to chemicals commonly found in water systems. PEX will not corrode, pit or develop pinholes over time, and resists the buildup of corrosive materials and minerals that can degrade and clog the piping system.
  • Suitable for both hot and cold water applications. Temperature range between 0C to 95C.
  • Cost-effective solution with reduced number of fittings required and the fact that it provides an easier installation than other pipe materials.
  • Conserves energy with reduced heat transfer.
  • Minimizes noise caused by water hammering.
